Live TV in Cardiff without a cable bill
Cable isn't required in Cardiff: 8K TV Ultra replaces the box with an app on your TV or streaming stick, with plans from $10.42 a month on the yearly plan.
- No contract
- 7-day refund
- Login in ~60s
Across Cardiff, cable and fiber are widely available and handle 4K easily. The usual weak spot is the last few feet: a router in the hallway and a TV behind two walls. Prepaid means no renewal surprises, and the 7-day money-back guarantee means the first week carries no risk.
From order to first channel
Activation runs over WhatsApp: order, pay, and the credentials follow in around 60 seconds. Install a player on the TV you use most: TiviMate on a Fire TV or Android TV, IPTV Smarters Pro on Apple TV, or an app such as IBO Player on Samsung and LG TVs. Sign in, and the channel list loads in a minute or two.

Local sports
No team on our pro and major college lists is based in Wales, but national games, league channels and event feeds are all in the lineup. The channel list doesn't change by ZIP code, so out-of-state teams are as easy to follow as local ones.
Eastern time and your guide
Guide times follow your device, not the broadcaster. In Cardiff, that means Eastern time. When a game listed for 8 p.m. shows at the wrong hour, the device time zone is the first thing to check, and the player's EPG offset setting is the second.
Bandwidth for your household
- One HD stream: about 10 Mbps
- One 4K stream: about 25 Mbps
- Two or three TVs: add each stream together, plus headroom for phones and laptops
- Wi-Fi: 5 GHz near the TV, or Ethernet
- How many devices play at the same moment is set when you order: one screen as standard, up to 3 on a single plan
A quick pre-check
- Check that the device clock is on Eastern time so the guide lines up.
- Keep the 7-day money-back guarantee in mind: test on every TV you plan to use during the first week.
- Run a speed test on the TV or stick itself, in the evening, when your area is busiest.
- Note how many screens will play at once, since that sets the connection count you need.
