Local guide

Across Nottingham, cable and fiber are widely available and handle 4K easily. The usual weak spot is the last few feet: a router in the hallway and a TV behind two walls. There's no contract and no card on file waiting to be charged again: plans are prepaid, with a 7-day refund window.

Nottingham setup, start to finish

Activation runs over WhatsApp: order, pay, and the credentials follow in around 60 seconds. Install a player on the TV you use most: TiviMate on a Fire TV or Android TV, IPTV Smarters Pro on Apple TV, or an app such as IBO Player on Samsung and LG TVs. Sign in, and the channel list loads in a minute or two.

Teams and channels for Nottingham fans

No team on our pro and major college lists is based in England, but national games, league channels and event feeds are all in the lineup. The channel list doesn't change by ZIP code, so out-of-state teams are as easy to follow as local ones.

Guide times in Nottingham

Set the device to Eastern time and the guide lines up with what's on air in Nottingham. Catch-up helps with the rest: anything that aired earlier in another time zone, up to 7 days back on supported channels, can be played from the start.

How much internet you need

  • One HD stream: about 10 Mbps
  • One 4K stream: about 25 Mbps
  • Two or three TVs: add each stream together, plus headroom for phones and laptops
  • Wi-Fi: 5 GHz near the TV, or Ethernet
  • A plan plays on one screen at a time as standard, and one order can cover up to 3 screens at once

A quick pre-check

  • Keep the 7-day money-back guarantee in mind: test on every TV you plan to use during the first week.
  • Check that the device clock is on Eastern time so the guide lines up.
  • Note how many screens will play at once, since that sets the connection count you need.
  • Run a speed test on the TV or stick itself, in the evening, when your area is busiest.
