Big-city Wi-Fi is noisy: dozens of networks compete in a single Montreal building. A cable to the router, or a mesh node in the living room, beats any setting in the player. You pay once for the plan length you choose; nothing renews on its own, and you have 7 days to ask for a refund.

Getting set up in Montreal

Choose a plan, message us on WhatsApp, and expect your login details in about a minute. Install a player on the TV you use most: TiviMate on a Fire TV or Android TV, IPTV Smarters Pro on Apple TV, or an app such as IBO Player on Samsung and LG TVs. Sign in, and the channel list loads in a minute or two.

Bandwidth for your household

  • One HD stream: about 10 Mbps
  • One 4K stream: about 25 Mbps
  • Two or three TVs: add each stream together, plus headroom for phones and laptops
  • Wi-Fi: 5 GHz near the TV, or Ethernet
  • Up to 3 screens can play at once on one plan; on the 12-month length, two screens cost $200 in total instead of $125

Teams and channels for Montreal fans

Montreal Canadiens and CF Montréal play in Montreal, and each page lists the channels that carry their games. National broadcasts are in the lineup, and regional sports networks sit in their own group.

Getting the TV guide right

Montreal runs on Eastern time. Your player shows guide times by the device clock, so set the TV or stick to the Eastern zone (most pick it up from the network automatically). If listings still look off, change the EPG offset in the player rather than the clock.

Three things to check first

  • Decide which TV gets the main player and whether a stick or the built-in apps make more sense.
  • Check that the device clock is on Eastern time so the guide lines up.
  • Run a speed test on the TV or stick itself, in the evening, when your area is busiest.
  • Keep the 7-day money-back guarantee in mind: test on every TV you plan to use during the first week.
