Live Sports

Sportsnet National is a national sports network from the Rogers family, built around live games, studio shows and the highlight hours that run after the late games. Choose a plan, message us on WhatsApp, and expect your login details in about a minute. If it doesn't suit you, the 7-day money-back guarantee applies, and because plans are prepaid there's nothing to cancel later.

Sportsnet National at a glance

  • Where to find it: the Live Sports group in your channel list
  • Network family: Rogers
  • Resolution: HD by default, with 4K versions where the source exists
  • TV guide: program titles and times, with EPG coverage across roughly 99% of the lineup
  • Catch-up: up to 7 days back where the channel supports it
  • Cost: included in all 4 plans, no add-on

What you'll see on screen

Expect a grid: categories down the left, channels in the middle, guide data on the right. Sportsnet National lives in the Live Sports category. Pin it to favorites and it appears on the first screen every time you open the app, ahead of the thousands of channels you'll never need to scroll past.

Tips for watching Sportsnet National

  • Favorite it, then line up the other sports networks beside it so changing games takes one button.
  • Open the channel a few minutes before a big game rather than at the opening whistle.
  • Missed the start? On channels with catch-up, the guide plays the broadcast from the beginning.
  • If two versions of the channel are listed, test both once and favorite the steadier one.

Up and running in about five minutes

Three steps. Order on WhatsApp and wait about a minute for the credentials. Put a player on your device: Fire TV and Android TV owners usually go with TiviMate, iPhone and Apple TV owners with IPTV Smarters Pro or GSE Smart IPTV. Sign in, let the channel list load, and open Live Sports.

Troubleshooting Sportsnet National

  • Sound but no picture: switch the player's decoder between hardware and software in its settings.
  • Spinning wheel, then nothing: switch to another channel and back. If others play and Sportsnet National doesn't, refresh the playlist from the player settings.
  • Plays for a minute, then freezes: run a speed test on the TV itself. Under about 25 Mbps, choose the HD version of the channel instead of 4K.

FAQ

Questions people ask us

Not covered here? Send it on WhatsApp and a person on the support desk will answer, any hour of the day.

Is Sportsnet National included in every 8K TV Ultra plan?

Yes. All 4 plans carry Sportsnet National along with the rest of the 35,000+ channels. Nothing is priced channel by channel, so there's no add-on to buy.

Can I watch Sportsnet National on a TV without a cable box?

Yes. Any device that runs an IPTV player will do: Fire TV, Android TV and Google TV boxes, Apple TV, smart TVs from Samsung and LG, phones and computers. Roku is the odd one out because it can't install Android apps, so Roku owners usually mirror from a phone or add a streaming stick.

Can I restart a show on Sportsnet National that already began?

On channels that support catch-up, yes: open the guide, go back to the program and play it from the start. Catch-up reaches up to 7 days back.

Can I watch Sportsnet National on my phone away from home?

Yes. Install the same player on your phone and sign in with the same details. Up to 3 screens can play at once on one plan; on the 12-month length, two screens cost $200 in total instead of $125.

What internet speed does Sportsnet National need?

Plan on about 10 Mbps for each HD stream and 25 Mbps for each 4K stream. Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi keeps the picture steady when the rest of the house is online.
