Watch Sky Sports Action live on your TV, phone or laptop
Watching Sky Sports Action live takes an 8K TV Ultra plan, a player app and a steady internet line. The channel is part of the plan; nothing in the lineup is sold channel by channel.
- No contract
- 7-day refund
- Login in ~60s
A national sports network, Sky Sports Action is the place for live games, studio shows and the highlight hours that run after the late games. Activation runs over WhatsApp: order, pay, and the credentials follow in around 60 seconds. If it doesn't suit you, the 7-day money-back guarantee applies, and because plans are prepaid there's nothing to cancel later.
Quick facts: Sky Sports Action
- Where to find it: the Live Sports group in your channel list
- Picture: HD as standard, 4K on feeds where the broadcaster supplies it
- Guide: now-and-next listings from an EPG that covers about 99% of channels
- Catch-up: up to 7 days back where the channel supports it
- Price: part of every plan, from $10.42/month on the yearly option
Getting Sky Sports Action on your TV
Order first: the WhatsApp message with your login comes back in roughly 60 seconds. Next, install a player on the screen you watch most. Then type in the server URL, username and password exactly as sent. The list loads in a minute or two, and Sky Sports Action is a search away.
Sky Sports Action viewing tips
- Missed the start? On channels with catch-up, the guide plays the broadcast from the beginning.
- Open the channel a few minutes before a big game rather than at the opening whistle.
- Favorite it, then line up the other sports networks beside it so changing games takes one button.
- Keep the player app updated; guide and playback fixes arrive through updates.
What you'll see on screen
Expect a grid: categories down the left, channels in the middle, guide data on the right. Sky Sports Action lives in the Live Sports category. Pin it to favorites and it appears on the first screen every time you open the app, ahead of the thousands of channels you'll never need to scroll past.
More in Live Sports
If Sky Sports Action is on your list, ESPNU, truTV, TSN 1, and Gol TV probably belong there too. Every 8K TV Ultra plan carries them at no extra cost.
If Sky Sports Action won't play
- Plays for a minute, then freezes: run a speed test on the TV itself. Under about 25 Mbps, choose the HD version of the channel instead of 4K.
- "Authorization failed": re-enter the login exactly as sent, including http:// and the port in the server URL.
- Spinning wheel, then nothing: switch to another channel and back. If others play and Sky Sports Action doesn't, refresh the playlist from the player settings.
