Altitude Sports: the essentials
- Where to find it: the Regional Sports (RSN) group in your channel list
- Picture: HD as standard, 4K on feeds where the broadcaster supplies it
- Guide: now-and-next listings from an EPG that covers about 99% of channels
- Catch-up: up to 7 days back where the channel supports it
- Price: part of every plan, from $10.42/month on the yearly option
Altitude Sports viewing tips
- Regional channels go quiet between seasons and come back when your team's schedule starts.
- Favorite the regional feed for each team you follow, not just the one nearest you.
- When both teams' regional feeds carry a game, each has its own broadcast crew, so pick the voices you prefer.
- Restart the player after a long session if the guide stops scrolling smoothly.
What you'll see on screen
Once you sign in, the player sorts channels into groups. Altitude Sports sits under Regional Sports (RSN); typing the first few letters into search gets you there faster than scrolling. The guide row shows what's on now and what's next, and a long press on the channel (or the menu button, depending on the app) adds it to favorites.
Up and running in about five minutes
Order first: the WhatsApp message with your login comes back in roughly 60 seconds. Next, install a player on the screen you watch most. Then type in the server URL, username and password exactly as sent. The list loads in a minute or two, and Altitude Sports is a search away.
Next to Altitude Sports in the guide
FanDuel Sports Network Arizona, FanDuel Sports Network Florida, NBC Sports Boston, and FanDuel Sports Network North sit in the same regional sports (RSN) group, and all of them come with the same 8K TV Ultra plan. The group page lists the rest.
If Altitude Sports won't play
- "Authorization failed": re-enter the login exactly as sent, including http:// and the port in the server URL.
- Wrong program in the guide: check the device's time zone, then the EPG offset setting in the player.
- Sound but no picture: switch the player's decoder between hardware and software in its settings.
